Why We Have Our Own Calendar:

“Proper prior planning prevents piss poor performance.”  The Julian and other calendars of the Outland were passable in their time, but were too inaccurate and simple for the purpose and pace of Inisfree.  Developing our own custom calendar, based on more open-minded holidays and more up-to-date astrological data, a fusion of every calendar and holiday in the entire world ended up taking place.

We also celebrate many days and other things which Outlanders do not, including some things they don’t even understand are both good and very important, critical for balance and health.

Finally, the whole steady structure of our calendar, without any alternating month-lengths or changing month naming conventions, symbolizes how we are a stabilizing system and community for all places and times.

Routine Blackouts:

All lights in Inisfree shut off at the same time, killing all of the “light pollution”, and allowing every citizen a chance to be wowed by ten times as many stars and auroral colors appearing as their eyes readjust.  We do our best to make these planned blackouts coincide with meteor showers and other overhead phenomena.  Your nearby ICVs will always let you know when one is about to happen, and not to worry; we have it all figured out.

Every Friday and Saturday night:  City Dances

City Dances are literally roaming dance parties with club music that mix the greatest dance moves with P-K (Le Parkour) as they flow over overpasses, through greenbelts, up fire escapes, and more!  Sometimes you’ll see dozens of people joining in, other times… hundreds.  It doesn’t matter if you have never been taught how to dance; just come on out and let loose, having fun.  (Any ICV or other dancer here will be happy to show you some moves, too, if you want.)

Mental Fitness Events:

Hosted by The School and the two academies (tantric and military), these events will also appear on the all-encompassing, highly-eclectic, Inisfreean calendar.  Check online through the FOB-Net for updates and overlaps.  Basically, we host public indoor and outdoor meditations and other inner peace-related gatherings, talks, and demonstrations, all geared toward helping you feel as relaxed and at home as possible, and well on your way to the moods and clarity you’ve always wanted.

Physical Fitness Events:

Inisfreeans practice hiking, jogging, and bicycling farther and farther up their city’s mountain slopes and trails as the snow recesses up during their Spring season, until they reach the peak during the Summer.  Treks and marathons to the peak during all seasons are annual, but less common. Those on rotation to active duty in Inisfree’s military train rigorously year-round, with a recruit-and-instructor unit from the city’s Boot Camp, as well as a fleet-Marine-and-instructor unit, executing the Crucible and the Reaper Hike every week, regardless of the temperature or snow-cover.

There are also always physical fitness events going on at our unique gyms.

Sports Seasons:

Technically, there are no distinct seasons in Antarctica where Inisfree is anchored; it goes from being cold and dry… to cold and dry (though it does go from very bright to completely dark, at least outside our sky-dome).  Still, we have artificial seasons within our walls, and we use them to help spread out our various physical team pass-times.

  1. Spring (Autumn for our hemisphere) = hockey for the Outlanders, dragon-riding and dragon-racing for us
  2. Summer (Winter for our hemisphere) = baseball and NASCAR for the Outlanders, Subterranean Vatican Tournaments and Cave-ing for us
  3. Autumn (Spring for our hemisphere) = football for the Outlanders, PBPK (Paintball-parkour) & racing for us
  4. Winter (Summer for our hemisphere) = basketball and surfing for Outlanders, surfing and city-dancing for us

All our sports can be found here.

Sexual Fitness Events:

Everyone here is compatible with each other in so many ways, so we naturally also arrange numerous full-body wellness gatherings each year –if not each month and even more often.

G Entertainment at WMKM Studios hosts events in all areas of Inisfree.  Like the jobs around our city, all Inisfreeans rotate through G Entertainment and the Studio to participate in the production of educational films on all subjects Inisfreean.  Because this city’s society and status quo are largely based on holistic nutrition and fitness, and therefore sophisticated sexual intercourse, many times when G Entertainment shows up on-scene, it means a fun public refresher course in all the positions taught at Liberty High School as well as those of T&A.

* A common and often humorous public event (our equivalent of the carnival hand-grip judging machine) is the kegel-grip judging Sybian.

Spiritual Fitness Events:

See your nearest and favorite Inisfreean temples for a listing of these cycling (recurring) events.  Inisfreeans consider the spirit to be part of the mind, and the mind to be part of the brain, thus a body-part, so the line between these tends to be rather blurred in their opinion.  We have included it as a section of this calendar page because of how it is thought of by most of our audience.  You may be surprised just how much the ICVs know about –and can literally perceive (see)– all spirits and the spiritual realm itself.

Even More Physical Fitness Events:

Marathons, triathlons, pentathlons, and every sporting event and competitive exercise demonstration imaginable are all a part of the Inisfreean calendar.  Make sure to check out our regular hosting of the new Olympic Games, too!  If you are looking for something beyond the normal physical fitness events, you’ll certainly find it there –or at our obstacle course, Halo maps, and Flower Towers stadiums where the professionals practice and play.

The Job Rotation Schedule:

The “job rotation” ensures that every Inisfreean (ICV) eventually secures a thorough, working-knowledge of every single profession and duty in the city; universal cross-training applied to the entire population –and always first-person, hands-on.  The schedule for this rotation mandates that after one month, each Inisfreean will be rotated to the next job in the alphabetical Vocations Directory.  The employment periods all overlap, so there are always seasoned employees, still with a week or more left at their current job, available to train the incoming rotators.

Of course there are plenty of tasks and jobs which rotate at different rates.  You will not be required to give up your current or favorite one just because 28 days have passed.  Some people really like to sample them all and at that rate, though –including our founder, who once did that in the Outlands for years.

Global and Universal Holidays:

The official Inisfreean calendar is jam-packed with holidays and special events from around the world; everything the people of Earth-That-Was used to celebrate before they were once again added to the Endangered Species List.  Holidays and religious observance dates* from the many other worlds Inisfree opens portals to are also included in their very festive and active city.  Since the other worlds have different month-, lunar-month-, and year-lengths, that means the holidays on this calendar are always gradually rotating and shifting over one another, making it quite dynamic.  (Our holidays remain the same, while those of some Outlander communities and civilizations based on the Moon or other things keep changing dates a little, year by year.)

In time, we’ll start to learn more about what is celebrated –and when– on virtually countless other worlds –and we’ll start to introduce you to the best of it here.

*Religion is generally not practiced or allowed in our realm; the days when we recognize something which coincides with a date in the Outlands reserved for a religious practice… is just to make it easier for people here to anticipate and remember when our religion-free versions of those things will be.

Two of the Three Mayan Calendars Overlap with Ours:

Long ago, there were three calendars everyone used, not just one like today (and, on that note, the one today was vastly different).  The other two were based on a 260 and 360-day cycle, not related to the position of our one planet around its central star.  Together, along with a wise formula, as far back as what is called ‘The Big Bang’, these calendars pinpointed throughout history all of the major evolutionary leaps and breakthroughs –even the coming Era of Inisfree; the permanent Golden Age.

For an introduction to all of the other concepts of these two Mayan calendars, and why they are important to you personally, navigate here.

These two images basically detail some of how there were nine distinct periods of time, all overlapping, each successive one much shorter than its predecessor/s, each which caused (and/or was the result of) all beings during it to have the same consciousness/overall focus, and then a time/event known as The Shift occurred on 2011-2012, followed by a mirror-like effect in the sense that after The Shift… nine more distinct periods of time began all at once, the shortest one only lasting ~a year, and the longest lasting billions of years.

The Hunt:

Among the most sacred of all scheduled and spontaneous traditions of Inisfree… is The Hunt. This special event involves the hunting of humans (only the bad ones, mind you; the ugliest ‘excuses’ inside and out) and any animals trained to protect those humans.  There are no game wardens or rules of engagement, unless agreed upon unanimously by the hunting party.  Black-ops, psy-ops, and covert and clandestine ‘tricks of the trade’ are employed, along with the martial arts, dark arts, and shadow arts; all to surgically capture and terminate as many bad humans as possible in the allotted time.  Master Hunters (often the post-graduate Master Females; veterans of all things Inisfreean) will leave only the traces, marks, and signatures of their choosing, sometimes leaving none at all; only fear and confusion in the small minds of the witnessing masses left in their gleefully surgical wakes.

* The Hunt occurs frequently during every military campaign, but Inisfreeans on civilian duty rotations can enjoy this fulfilling event, too, by accompanying the Governor outside the city’s Perimeter Wall, on his space-yachts such as the Warships or Ark II‘s, and in other ways.

2024 September:  Rules for The Hunt:

  • If you can’t read minds, do not assume evil; only shoot/kill humans you can confirm are evil (not compatible with the High King). Everyone and everything is his property, so no matter where you are, what time of year it is, or where you got your hunting license/permit, you still can only kill things he would want killed, otherwise you become open for hunting.
  • As long as who you are hunting is not someone the High King would like, there is no limit to what you can do to them, nor a maximum for how many of them you can kill.
  • You do not have to clean, haul, or report your kills; you can leave them where they fall.
  • If you set traps, they must only be able to fool and hurt humans the High King wouldn’t like.
  • There is no reward for showing proof of such humans killed, though doing so will help maintain your standing, and obviously keep the region you killed them in far better to live and work in.
  • Everyone the High King would like, if the ICVs noticed them, are monitored and protected at all times, so don’t worry; you won’t misidentify or accidentally harm them.
  • It doesn’t matter if you hunt humans even in their own cities and homes and military bases; kill as many bad ones as you can/want, keeping the rest too scared to ever dare get lippy/rude/hostile to us again.
  • If you kill an evil human who had children/youths with it, determine if those young humans have an evil essence or not, then proceed.

Birthdays:

All of the females found to be worthy of interaction with the Inisfreeans, once they have become regular guests or residents of Inisfree, always have the opportunity to spend at least one hour of their birthdays with King Auz.  He treats them like royalty; to the absolute finest our city and empire have to offer.  The way he sees it, the greatest gift anyone could ever receive… is them (thus their birthdays are big events here, celebrating them far more than humans in the Outlands ever celebrated their own).

If your birthday lines up with one of our days reserved for something such as cooking a specific type of food, or going on a certain kind of outing, try fusing the two together for new and themed way of celebrating.  Any ICVs will be glad to help.  Just ask.

Overall:

Inisfreeans right, fix, and correctly sexualize everything; every moment, every day, every holiday.

In all of our 13 months each year, and every single one of their days, there is something wonderful going on in our realm.

Spring:

Summer:

Autumn:

Winter:

No one decorates their vehicles with wreaths or anything else (such as window-mounted soft antlers) in December; everyone in our realm prefers vehicles to look classy and remain available for use by us all, as we share/trade most of them throughout the day.

Holi:  Festival of Colors

For us, this holiday from India reminds us to enjoy just the actual literal colors, dyes, spices, skin tones, and allied/compatible races/species themselves; nothing less, and nothing more.

Holiday Treats – which you can get in our Desserts Dirigible:

Eating is as sacred to us as compatible love and the restored natural passage/flow of Time (time no longer being just a lifeless/unconscious phenomenon downplayed by foolish beings such as humans), and so we make the absolute finest, most gorgeous, and healthiest treats you can ever imagine… on every special day of our year/s.

2022 Update:  Direct Sunlight and Shadows

This image shows how high the Sun gets while Inisfree is on Antarctica.  See our Maps webpage for further details.

2024 August 25 Sunday addition:  Durations of Daylight Levels (while Inisfree is still on Antarctica)

  • Night lasts 2.6 months (mo) –when the horizon is only visible due to it being so icy-white; if not ice-covered, it would be black
–Sun’s center >18° below the horizon
–navigation by starlight often still possible, again because of the gleaming terrain which keeps the horizon visible
    –lasts ~79 days (d)
–our full winter considered to be ~91d; +6d (~1 week) on either side of this year-long night we experience
–our winter centered around June 21 (summer solstice, which is Auzdein 4 on our calendar), thus from ~May 9 to ~August 4
  • Astronomical Twilight:  .7mo x2 (1.4mo total) –when the horizon is visible, but not individual buildings or landforms
–Sun’s center between 18° and 12° below the horizon
–faintest stars and planets not visible, but most stars and planets visible
–lasts ~43d (in 2 separate ~21d parts; on either side of our winter-long night/darkness)
    –August 4 to/through ~August 23
    –and April 21 to/through ~May 9
  • Nautical Twilight:  .5mo x2 (1mo total) –when individual buildings and landforms are visible as silhouettes
–Sun’s center between 12° and 6° below the horizon
–Outlander sailors can clearly see the horizon, thus use it to take readings of star positions to navigate/sail by.
–lasts ~30d (in 2 separate ~15d parts; between our Spring’s astronomical and civil twilight, and between our Autumn’s civil and astronomical twilight)
    –August 23 to/through ~September 6
    –and April 4 to/through ~April 21
  • Civil Twilight:  .4mo x2 (.8mo total) –when individual buildings and landforms -even trees/tree-lines- are distinct, not just silhouettes
–Sun’s center between 6° and 1° below the horizon
–lasts ~24d (in 2 separate ~12d parts; right before the Sun becomes visible over our horizon for the Summer, and right after the Sun sets for the year)
    –September 6 to/through ~September 18
    –and March 24 to/through ~April 4
  • Day (direct sunlight; Sun above the horizon):  6.2mo (2.6+1.4+1+.8 = 5.8, …and 12 months – 5.8 = 6.2)
–Sun’s center is above the horizon
–lasts ~189d (~2.4x longer than our 1 annual night)
–middle ~91d considered our true summer
summer centered around December 21 (winter solstice –Nibiru 19 on our calendar), thus from ~September 18 to ~March 24
  • *Our Spring is comparable to our annual dawn-twilight; ~August 4 to/through ~September 18
    and our Autumn is comparable to our annual dusk-twilight; ~March 24 to/through ~May 9

To simplify this concept/vocab’:
(in most of the rest of the world; not in the polar regions)

  1. Dawn (morning twilight; from lightless night… to just before sunrise):  ~4:30-6a (in this ex.)
  2. Astro’ twilight:  ~4:30-5a (~half an hour after astronomical dawn is nautical dawn; the astronomical portion of twilight lasts ~30 minutes)
  3. Naut’ twi’:  ~5-5:30a (another ~half-hour portion of dawn-twilight)
  4. Civ’ twi’:  ~5:30-6a
  5. Sunrise:  ~6a
  6. Sunset:  ~6p (when civil-dusk begins)
  7. Civ’ twi’:  ~6-6:30p (until nautical-dusk begins)
  8. Naut’ twi’:  ~6:30-7p (until astronomical-dusk begins)
  9. Astro’ twi’:  ~7-7:30p (until night begins; no more dim light remaining on the horizon from the long-set Sun)
  10. Dusk (evening twilight; from sunset until true night):  ~6-7:30p (until final daylight of this cycle; end of twilight)

Twilight is the period between dawn and sunrise, or between sunset and dusk, when the Sun partially illuminates the atmosphere.  During twilight, there is still light in the sky.
In Antarctica, during and near The Shift (end of 2011 A.D.), instead of every pre-sunrise (morning twilight) and post-sunset (evening twilight) being daily, they take weeks to months.  This is because the Sun, from our part of the world, appears to stay not that far above the horizon during our hemisphere’s summer, and then during our autumn it slowly moves down below the horizon, remaining below the horizon for our winter, before slowly rising back up into view during our Spring.

Why we don’t reverse the sequence of month names, even though the seasons in the southern hemisphere are opposite those in the northern hemisphere; what we associate our month names with:

  1. Janus (representing / when we think of: beginnings; when it is easiest; the middle of our summer)
  2. Februus (purity; total focus on the shared values and singular vision, necessary to think up and prototype the tech’/tools we’ll need not long from now)
  3. Mars (technology; everything we have foreseen and developed which will help us prepare for the challenges ahead)
  4. Aperire (blooming after –and before it becomes too chilly to stay open)
  5. Maiesta (graduations; education/training complete just in time to hunker down in prep’ for the winter)
  6. Venus (female sexiness; compatible companions/ship to keep us fully confident and energized/motivated through the coldest time just ahead)
  7. Auzdein (the savior –even when it is / “times are” most challenging, turning the tide, ushering back in the good pleasant times)
  8. Shakira (dance & fusion of compatible things; to warm up after winter, helping “get the blood pumping” so we can be clever/innovative again)
  9. Agharta (appreciating our sky-dome and other shielding layers/membranes/structures/technology)
  10. Harvest (soil science and planting; knowing how to maintain arable/fertile land even in extreme cold)
  11. Thor (getting the weather back how we prefer it to be, our wills strengthened by holding the vision of our wants/needs through the challenging winter and Spring)
  12. Odin (wisdom & poetry; because we made it through another winter and Antarctic-Spring, and can now relax enough to make eloquent notes/spells/enchantments and inspiration about/from it)
  13. Nibiru (travel and finding; on the move again, seeing what is revealed after all the ice/snow has melted/thawed, thus where we might consider beginning new projects in the soon-coming easiest/mildest/safest/warmest time, which is the perfect time for such fledgling/fragile/prototype things)

Temperature-ranges by Season:

  • (our temperatures image/map shows) 20s (°F) atop central mntn… to 60s in foothills/meadows is norm’, now/thus our Summer temp’s
  • for Autumn and Spring, subtract ~15° for any area’s temp’-range in the images/maps; 0s-10s atop that mt… to 40s-50s at meadows
  • for Winter, subtract ~30° from Summer’s brackets; -10s atop mt… to 30s meadows/lowlands (thus our cropland never freezes)
